Opening a Repository object

The AppBuilder’s File Open command gives you access to Repository objects.

To open a Repository object in the AppBuilder:

From the AppBuilder main window, choose File Open Object or choose the Open Object button on the toolbar.

The Open Objects dialog box appears. (See the "File menu enhancements" section for details.)

Change the current Product Module if the object resides in another Product Module.
Change the Object Type to display only objects of a specific type.
Enter the logical name of the object you want to open in the Object filename field or select the object from the objects displayed. The Object filename field at the top of the dialog box will search through the list of objects for matches as you type. This allows you to focus likely matches in the browse and select the correct object when it appears in the browse. The Object filename combo field at the bottom allows you to select an object from a list of recently opened objects.
Choose OK.

The selected object opens in an AppBuilder design window.
